Campaign of the University of Tartu Seventh Pillar Fund
The campaign collects donations for the University of Tartu Seventh Pillar Fund, established in 1998 and named after Lennart Meri, who was the patron of the University of Tartu Foundation. he referred to the seventh pillar as the pillar of wisdom, which symbolises the role of knowledge and education in society. Donations made to the fund will be invested and scholarships will be paid out to active and talented students with good academic performance from the profit of the investment.

The campaign aims to collect donations to support Ukrainian students studying at the University of Tartu through scholarships. Both companies and individuals can make donations to the fund. Bachelor’s and master’s students with Ukrainian citizenship are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
