University of Tartu Ukraine Scholarship Fund
The university invites all its alumni to donate to the University of Tartu Seventh Pillar Fund, which aims to support bachelor’s students (from the second year) and master’s and doctoral students in their studies and research. When the fund was established in 1998, it was named by the then patron of the University of Tartu Foundation, Lennart Meri, who referred to the seventh pillar as the pillar of wisdom.
The scholarship of the Seventh Pillar Fund is intended primarily for students who completed upper secondary education outside Tartu and Tallinn and who stand out for their excellent academic results, participate in projects, and do research. Upon awarding the scholarship, the candidate’s involvement in civic initiatives, participation in student and other organisations and experience in organising international events are also taken into account.
The fund’s support helps the scholarship holders participate in professional conferences, be active citizens and volunteers, and devote themselves to writing their thesis.
Help students continue their education and contribute to shaping the future of Estonia!
