University of Tartu Seventh Pillar Fund
The Seventh Pillar Fund was named in 1998 by Lennart Meri, the then patron of the University of Tartu Foundation, referring to the seventh pillar as the pillar of wisdom, which symbolizes the supporting role of knowledge and education in society.

University of Tartu Ukraine Scholarship Fund
On February 28, 2022, the University of Tartu established a scholarship fund to collect and distribute donations for supporting the studies of Ukrainian students at the University of Tartu. Both companies and private individuals can contribute to the fund. The scholarships are available to Ukrainian nationals pursuing bachelor's or master's degree studies.

The 2025 Scholarship for visiting professors from the Estonian Diaspora
The aim of the scholarship fund is to ensure the participation of renowned researchers and lecturers of Estonian descent working abroad in the activities of the University of Tartu for at least one year or, as an exception, for one semester.
