The campaign collects donations to the University of Tartu Seventh Pillar Fund, which was established in 1998 and named by Lennart Meri, who was the patron of the University of Tartu Foundation. He referred to the seventh pillar as the pillar of wisdom, symbolising the key role of knowledge and education in society. Donations to the fund will be invested, and scholarships will be paid from the fund's investment profits to support active and talented students with strong academic performance.

The campaign aims to collect donations to support Ukrainian students studying at the University of Tartu through scholarships. Both companies and individuals can make donations to the fund. Bachelor’s and master’s students with Ukrainian citizenship are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
