The 2025 University of Tartu Scholarship for Ukraine

Scholarship Description:

The University of Tartu (UT) has established a scholarship fund to support talented and motivated Ukrainian students who demonstrate strong academic performance. The fund aims to assist students with Ukrainian citizenship enrolled in first- and second-level higher education programmes at the UT.

This scholarship is available to Ukrainian students who are studying in Estonia or participating in exchange programmes abroad (e.g., Erasmus+). The scholarship will be awarded based on the applicant's academic performance and the intended use of the scholarship.

Scholarship Amount and Number:

Each scholarship is up to 1,000 euros per semester. The final amount and the number of scholarships awarded will be determined by the scholarship committee and will depend on the total amount of funds available in the scholarship fund.

How to Apply:

To apply, the applicant must: 

1. Submit an electronic application to the Foundation by the deadline.

2. Include a motivation letter (up to 1,500 characters, including spaces) explaining how you plan to use the scholarship to support your academic goals.

Note: A letter of recommendation is not required for this scholarship, so please leave that section empty.

The scholarship will be granted based on the applicant’s academic performance and the intended use of the scholarship. The scholarship committee reserves the right to access the applicant's data in the University’s information systems.
