The 2025 Peeter Põld Scholarship
Scholarship Description:
The aim of the scholarship is to contribute to the recognition of the teaching profession in Estonian society and to support teacher training students in their studies and research.
Number and amount of scholarships:
One scholarship of 2000 euros.
Application requirements:
Teacher training students at all Estonian public higher education institutions can apply for the scholarship from the eighth semester of study in the case of an integrated curriculum and from the second semester in master's and doctoral studies.
The scholarship is awarded based on the applicant's academic achievements, the effectiveness of scientific research and participation in pedagogical development activities.
To apply, you must submit an electronic scholarship application, including:

- an overview of pedagogical development activities and planned activities popularizing teacher training
- a letter of recommendation from a lecturer
- a budget for planned scholarship expenses
- a transcript of records (ask from your curriculum academic affairs specialist)
