The 2024 Fund of XRP Ledger Trust Scholarship (spring semester)

Description of Scholarship:

The purpose of the Fund is to support technology development or legal and regulatory frameworks for governance and sustainability. The scholarship aims to advance understanding of decentralised technologies' potential to solve complex problems. When applying a written essay has to be attached to the application.

Value/Amount:

The amount of the Bachelor student scholarship is 1,500 euros, Master’s students are granted 2,000 euros. Every year, 4-5 scholarships are awarded to the students of each level.

Full Eligibility Requirements:

All Bachelor's and Master's level students  of the University of Tartu can apply for the scholarship regardless of field of study.

How to Apply:

The documents to be submitted by the applicants to the University of Tartu Foundation by the announced due date are as follows:

• an application for the scholarship (electronic form on the Foundation’s web page);
• written essay on a topic: How can blockchain technology help me to realise my dreams of changing the world, and how will scholarship funding bring me closer to my dreams? Please provide concrete examples related to your current education in your response;
• a certificate attesting to the applicant’s study results;
• a letter of recommendation from a supervising teaching staff member.

Deadline to Apply:

April 15th 2024

Scholarship will be awarded:

The scholarship will be paid out after signing the contract with the University of Tartu Foundation.
