The 2024 Fund of InFTF Scholarship (autumn semester)
Scholarship Description:
The aim of the fund is to support the development of technology and the legal and regulatory frameworks for management and sustainability. The purpose of the scholarship is to expand knowledge about the potential of decentralized technologies in solving complex problems. A written essay must be included with the scholarship application.
Eligibility Requirements:
All bachelor's and master's degree students from any program at the University of Tartu are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Number and Amount of Scholarships:
The scholarship amount is €1,500 for bachelor's students and €2,000 for master's students. Each year, 4-5 scholarships are awarded at each level of study.
To Apply, Submit:
- an application for the scholarship (electronic form on the Foundation’s web page);
- written essay on a topic: How can blockchain technology help me to realise my dreams of changing the world, and how will scholarship funding bring me closer to my dreams? Please provide concrete examples related to your current education in your response;
- a certificate attesting to the applicant’s study results (from your Academic Affairs Specialist);
- a letter of recommendation from a supervising teaching staff member.

October 16, 2024 (inclusive)
Scholarship Award:
The scholarship will be awarded at the University of Tartu Foundation's spring semester scholarship reception, held in mid-June. The scholarship payment will be made after the contract is signed.
