The 2015 Erich Rannu family scholarship
The 2015 Erich Rannu family scholarship was awarded to Sigrid Rajalo (4000 euros), Tauri Arnus (3000 euros) and Mykyta Gorskykh (1000 euros).
The purpose of the scholarship is to improve the study of economics at the University of Tartu by encouraging students to apply their skills and knowledge to ethical economic activity in Estonia.
The total amount of the scholarships is 8000 euros. The commission will determine the final amount and number of scholarships.
Students from all academic degrees of the Faculty of Economics are eligible candidates, as well as IT and informatics students studying economics as an additional specialty.
In order to apply, you must submit the following to the UT Foundation:
- an electronic application form, including information about the applicant and a recommendation from a lecturer;
- an essay (up to 3 pages) explaining the applicant’s understanding of the economic situation and developmental possibilities in Estonia, and also describing the importance of ethics in economic development.The essay should be attached to the application as a PDF file.
