The 2023 Anni Jürine Scholarship
Description of Scholarship:
The scholarship is composed of money donated to the foundation by the founders of the scholarship (Institute of Estonian and General Linguistics of the University of Tartu, OÜ Keelekord, MTÜ Eesti Kognitiivse Keeleteaduse Ühing, NB! Write (Nordic and Baltic Network for Writing in Higher Education), Anni’s family, colleagues and friends).
The scholarship is awarded to one or two bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral students at the University of Tartu to promote research on Anni’s research topics - writing academic texts and the development of grammar.
Value/Amount:
The minimum amount of the scholarship is 500 euros.

The scholarship is awarded to one or two bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral students at the University of Tartu to promote research on Anni’s research topics.
How to Apply:
- an application for the scholarship (electronic form on the Foundation’s web page);
- a research plan and a letter of motivation (when applying for the scholarship for a planned or ongoing research) or a summary of a defended/published research and its main results (when applying for the scholarship for a completed research project, max 200 words);
- a recommendation from a lecturer.

The scholarship will be paid out after signing the contract with the University of Tartu Foundation.
