InFTF Foundation Awards Autumn Scholarships to Visionary Students
The InFTF Foundation is dedicated to advancing knowledge about the potential of blockchain and decentralized technologies. Its goal is to support solutions that contribute to sustainable development and innovation. Each year, scholarships are awarded to undergraduate and graduate students who write an essay on how blockchain technology can help them realize their dreams.
Scholarship Recipients
Iris Luik, a first-year master’s student in geography at the University of Tartu, values the support offered by the scholarship. “The scholarship provides me with significant support, allowing me to fully focus on my studies during the spring semester and begin writing my master’s thesis on remote sensing,” Iris shares. In her essay, she explored how blockchain technology could bring more transparency and fairness to the field of environmental monitoring. “It’s a data-intensive and rapidly evolving field where blockchain could add significant value,” she explains.
Syed Muhammad Kumail Mehdi Abidi, a third-year bachelor’s student in chemistry, appreciates the scholarship's impact on his academic journey. “This scholarship means a lot to me because I can now reduce my working hours and focus more on practical projects in my studies,” Kumail admits. He adds that highlighting his economic situation and explaining how the financial support would enhance his academic progress was crucial in his application.
Robin Juul, a first-year bachelor’s student in computer science at the University of Tartu, focuses on creating solutions to support learning through his projects. “My current goal is to dedicate my energy to developing a student-focused learning robot as part of the Robot Study Companion program,” Robin explains. In his essay, he discussed how blockchain technologies could be used to improve the world, with a particular focus on enhancing data security in the healthcare system and preventing data breaches.
