Management

The foundation's daily operations are managed by a one-member board, with Katriin Fisch-Uibopuu fulfilling the board member's duties. She has held this position since April 5, 2021. 

Since June 14, 2022, the patron of the University of Tartu Foundation has been Mrs. Sirje Karis. 

The strategic management of the foundation is carried out by an 8-member council, whose current composition began its work on June 7, 2024. According to the statutes, the council's mandate is valid for four years. The council organizes the management of the foundation, makes strategic decisions, and oversees the foundation's activities. The council's approval is required for all transactions involving the use and disposal of significant assets.

One member of the supervisory board is appointed by the University of Tartu Council, one is appointed by the University of Tartu Senate, and the rest are elected by the contributors. 

The work of the supervisory board members is voluntary, and no remuneration is paid to the members of the supervisory board for performing their duties.
