The Data Protection Terms of the University of Tartu Foundation explain the processing of personal data and information concerning the private life of individuals by the Tartu University Foundation. Personal data is any data that allows a person to be identified. Processing of personal data is any operation performed with personal data. This data protection information applies to the processing of personal data related to the founders, donors, scholarship applicants and employees of the foundation.

Investment Policy
The Foundation's financial resources are pooled into an investment portfolio, the task of which is to ensure the continuity of the foundation's scholarships, awards and grants. Disbursements from the funds are made only from the profit received from investing in the fixed capital.
Maintaining the fixed capital and payments made from the profit received from investing ensure the stability and continuous strengthening of the foundation and enable the payment of scholarships even in economically difficult times. Read the investment declaration approved by the Foundation's Council.
The investment of the fixed capital is carried out by LHV Bank as a professional market participant based on the investment declaration, whose task is to apply the best skills to increase the financial resources of the foundation.
Keeping the fixed capital intact and making payments from the profit from the investment ensure the stability and continuous strengthening of the foundation and enable the payment of scholarships even in economically difficult times.
