Investment policy


The financial resources of the foundation are concentrated in the fixed capital, the objective of which is to ensure the continuity of the scholarships, awards, and grants of the foundation. Payments from the scholarship funds are made only on the account of the profit obtained from investing the fixed capital.

Preservation of the fixed capital and payments made from the profit obtained from investments ensure the stability and constant strengthening of the foundation and allow to pay scholarships also in times of economic hardship. See the foundation's investment declaration.

Payments from the scholarship funds are made only on the account of the profit obtained from investing the fixed capital. The investment of the fixed capital is conducted by Swedbank as a professional market participant under the investment declaration approved by the supervisory board of the foundation; the duty of the bank is to use the best skills for the guaranteed development of the financial resources of the foundation.

Keeping the fixed capital intact and payments made only from the profit obtained from investments ensures the stability and constant strengthening of the foundation and also allows payment of scholarships in times of economic hardship.
