How do we thank our supporters?
Through your donation, you help support the continuation of students' education, foster a strong academic generation for the University of Tartu's research community, and shape the future of the University of Tartu and Estonia.
Making a donation gives you the opportunity to establish contacts with talented students and outstanding researchers, and to immortalize your name for future generations and the history of the University of Tartu.
Thanking supporters
With the supporter's consent, we will publish their name on the public supporters page
A plaque of honor for the largest supporters will be published in the first issue of the Universitas Tartuensis magazine each year. All supporters published in the magazine will also receive a physical copy of the magazine by mail.
We enable the name of the supporter to be preserved in public space
Based on the donor's request, it is possible to name the scholarship fund created after them. If the purpose of the donation has been the renovation of a building or room, we offer the opportunity to unveil a plaque with the supporter's name on the building or room. If the purpose of the donation has been the purchase of equipment or laboratory equipment, we can also place the nameplate of the supporter on it.
In the case of larger donations, the supporter is recognized with a letter of appreciations signed by the rector
At the end of each semester, we invite all founders and representatives of the foundations that have awarded scholarships during the semester to a festive reception for scholarship holders and supporters.
Rector's thanksgiving dinner for supporters
From time to time, we organize pleasant gatherings for good supporters together with the rector of the University of Tartu.
